CreditorWatch has today launched AutoPay, a new feature within its Collect platform designed to help finance leaders reduce cash flow variability, automate collections at scale and remove the operational burden of manually chasing payments.
For CFOs and Financial Controllers, AutoPay improves cash flow predictability by turning overdue invoices into automated, recurring payments, reducing reliance on reactive collections and providing greater confidence in receivables performance.
For Accounts Receivable leaders, it removes a significant portion of manual follow-ups, allowing teams to focus on prioritisation, exceptions and higher-value accounts rather than repeated outreach.
AutoPay enables businesses to set up recurring direct debit agreements with customers, allowing payments to be collected automatically once authorised. This reduces friction in the payment process, improves on-time payment rates and helps standardise how collections are executed across the ledger.
The result is a more controlled and scalable AR function, where collections activity becomes more consistent, less resource-intensive and less dependent on individual effort.
AutoPay builds on Collect’s existing ‘pay now’ functionality, which supports secure payment links via email and SMS, extending the platform from enabling payments to actively automating them.
The launch reinforces Collect’s position as an accounts receivable automation and intelligence platform – combining payment execution, workflow automation and risk signals in a single system. Rather than operating across fragmented tools or relying on reactive collections, finance teams can better prioritise accounts, standardise communications and protect working capital without increasing headcount.
Patrick Coghlan, Chief Executive Officer at CreditorWatch, said the move reflects a shift towards more proactive and controlled receivables management.
“Late payment is one of the earliest signals of financial stress, but most finance teams are still forced to manage collections manually and reactively,” Coghlan said.
“AutoPay removes a large part of that friction. By embedding payments directly into receivables workflows, finance teams can reduce variability in cash flow, improve consistency in collections and spend less time chasing invoices.”
AutoPay forms part of CreditorWatch’s continued investment in Collect as a platform designed to help finance teams move from reactive collections to more predictable, risk-aware receivables management. By combining behavioural payment data with automation, Collect gives teams earlier visibility, clearer priorities and greater control over outcomes across the ledger.
AutoPay is available from today as part of the Collect platform.
